Risk Companion
Your risk process, minus the retyping
Description
Risk Companion is an AI-assisted advice platform for Australian risk practices, built by Risk Hub. It carries a case from the fact find through to the Statement of Advice in one system, so the same client facts are not typed into four of them.
The AI does the reading and the drafting. The adviser checks and owns every part of it.
How a case builds
- Client profile. A short fact find built for risk, sent as a secure link, or pre-filled from what you already hold so the client only has to confirm it.
- Documents. Policy schedules, super statements, meeting transcripts and file notes are read, and the fields populate for you to confirm.
- Existing cover. Ownership, bundled premiums and super-linked TPD and income protection captured automatically from those documents.
- Needs analysis. Life, TPD, trauma and income protection, with the shortfall agreed on screen with the client.
- Research and quotes. Real insurer quotes through LifeRisk Online, started from the sums insured already agreed. Actual life company quotes, not replicated product pricing.
- Pre-assessment. Health, occupation and lifestyle details captured once in the fact find are used to prepare anonymised pre-assessment requests, so there is less back and forth before a recommendation is made.
- Strategy and the SoA. The pre-advice strategy document drafts in under a minute, and the Statement of Advice builds from what you approved.

What practices are seeing
Melbourne risk specialist Paul Milbourne, who helped develop and test the platform: “New-client work that used to take us 12 to 14 hours is now under six, which means more time with clients and less time on paperwork.”
More than 50 Statements of Advice have been built through the system, across a broad range of advice situations from the straightforward to the genuinely complicated, vetted and compliance reviewed along the way.
Data, security and your licensee
- Stored in Sydney and processed in Sydney, onshore end to end
- Your own tenancy
- Client links verify identity and expire, rather than a form sitting in an inbox behind a date of birth
- Pre-flight checks tell you what is missing or does not reconcile before the advice document is built
- Everything read or drafted is put in front of the adviser to confirm, with edits logged and client confirmations stamped
Integrations
LifeRisk Online for research and quoting, and CDM Solutions for existing policy data. Both licences stay in your practice name. Risk Companion can run as the principal advice system for a specialist risk practice, or alongside an existing CRM and advice technology environment.
What sets it apart
It is built for risk advice rather than adapted from a financial planning system, and it was developed and refined on live client cases rather than in a lab. The quotes are real, the pre-assessments are real, and the adviser signs off on everything.
Pricing
Per adviser, with support and admin staff seats included rather than charged again. Modules are added when you want them. Onboarding is a guided programme quoted per practice, with weekly sessions, and the early advice documents are produced with you.
There is no migration to survive first. Send one fact find, work that client through, and add the next piece when you are ready.
How it fits with Risk Toolkit
If you only want some of the tools rather than the whole process, Risk Toolkit is the modular option, also from Risk Hub. See risktoolkit.com.au.
