Most risk advice still gets typed three or four times. Once into the fact find, once into the needs analysis, once into the research tool, and once more into the advice document. Nobody chose that. It just happened, one system at a time.
We have built two things to deal with it. They solve the same problem from different ends, and advisers keep asking which one they want. Here is the short version.

Risk Toolkit: pick the tools you need
Risk Toolkit is modular. You start with one tool and add more as you need them.
- Fact find. Send a blank fact find before the first meeting, or a pre-filled one at review. The client completes it online, under your branding.
- Needs analysis. Life, TPD, income protection and trauma, built straight off the fact find. No re-keying.
- RiskAssessor. Pre-assessments, anonymised for the insurer, with the enquiry built for you and tracked in one place.
- Engagement tools. Client-facing checks and calculators you can share, including advice fee deductibility and the super impact projection, with every response landing in the client’s record.
- Research. LifeRisk Online quoting inside the app, with your own LifeRisk Online subscription.
New tools are added regularly.

Risk Companion: the whole process, end to end
Risk Companion is the complete advice system. One client goes in at the first meeting and comes out the other side with a Statement of Advice, without the file being rebuilt at every step. Data collection, needs analysis, research, strategy, pre-assessments, tasks and the advice document all sit in the one place, with AI doing the extraction and the heavy lifting between steps.
It suits a practice that wants to change how the whole job runs, not just patch one part of it.
See Risk Companion, or follow one client through the demo, from the first meeting to the SoA.
So which one?
| Risk Toolkit | Risk Companion | |
| What it does | The pieces of the process you choose | The whole process, fact find to SoA |
| Start with | One tool, add more later | The full system |
| Best when | Your process mostly works and a few parts hurt | You want the whole job to run differently |
You can start with Risk Toolkit and move up later. The fact find and needs analysis work the same way in both, so nothing is wasted.

Risk Companion and Risk Toolkit are software for financial advisers. They support your advice process. They do not provide financial advice.
